2009, we plan to conduct training courses covering Parts M & 145 and Human Factors at a number of locations in northern England and Scotland. Other training and consultancy services will be offered in 2009.
Our instructors have many years’ experience in aviation maintenance and other aspects of continuing airworthiness, including delivering training on behalf of organisations affiliated to national regulators. Our instructors are also consultants who assist organisations in complying with EASA Parts M and 145. EVAS can offer compliance packages including generating MOEs or CAMEs (including Part 4 Airworthiness Review) and associated training.
EASA Part 145 Training Course at Manchester Airport in June 2009
Part 145 two-day training course at Bewley’s Hotel at Manchester Airport, UK commencing June 2nd 2009. You can attend as a day delegate or take advantage of Bewley’s 24-hour delegate residential package. Both include lunch and refreshments with the 24-rate adding bed, breakfast and evening meal.
Costs:
- Day delegate (non-residential): £475 for the two day course
- Residential (2 nights, arriving on June 1st): £685 for the two day course
- Pending completion of VAT registration, pro forma invoice will indicate the net cost + 15%. A VAT invoice will be sent to you once registration is complete
The course covers:
- An overview of the high level ICAO requirements that outline SARPs applicable to Contracting States
- An overview of EASA’s structure and the role of the National Aviation Authorities
- An overview of the Basic Regulation, the Implementing Rules and the Annexes (Parts M, 145, 66 & 147) and the inter-relationship between them
- Description of Part 145:
- - Section A (Technical Requirements for industry)
- - Acceptable Means of Compliance (AMCs)
- - Guidance Material
- - Appendices
- - Section B (Procedures for Competent Authorities)
We will also review other requirements such as:
- Fuel Tank Safety/CDCCL
- EWIS
- Human Factors
- Acceptance of AME licences for certifying staff employed by foreign AMOs
Other aspects we cover include:
- The Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)
- Authorisation of staff (we’ll look at authorisation of staff for organisations holding A, B, C & D ratings)
- Any particular questions, issues or misunderstandings you may have
This course will assist regulators, Accountable Managers, nominated staff and managers; certifiers and other technical staff.
